Blogging!

This week's blog:

  No blogging this week. Woohoo!

This is a BIG part of your grade.  Download the instructions here for getting on Tumblr (the site our class uses to blog) - detailed instructions, complete with screen shots to guide you.

Check here to see if your blogs are getting posted:  http://Psyc125Fall2010.tumblr.com    (FYI: If they aren't here, they are considered NOT submitted and can not be graded.)

Homework:

IQ test - I found the one I was looking for! Go here and click on Get to Know GiGi! Then click on GiGi Sprint. It does ask for your email address at the end. Give one should have a junk email address for stuff like this.  Be sure to print out the last page which will show your test results and a graph!

Syllabus - Download, save, and review immediately! Bring in ONLY last page, signed!

Your ONLINE Textbook:

Your textbook is completely ONLINE at this link:    ONLINE READINGS IN PSYCHOLOGY AND CULTURE

This unique and expanding collection of readings in culture and psychology is free to professors, students, and others throughout the world. We will use these articles, written by noted scholars, to supplement lectures and activities in this course.  Bookmark this site!

Additional reading assignments and supplemental material will be posted here to help you save money (and hopefully a few trees too!).  So for this class, you will need a good reliable Internet connection and computer access to download materials.  But not to worry, every registered student gets an email address from Grossmont as well as great computers to use in our wonderful Media Tech Mall.

But you will need to buy the workbook ASAP - we start working from it immediately!
