course uses the Blackboard Learning System, the first thing you need to learn is
how to log on to the Blackboard site. You should do this AS SOON AS
the course becomes available on Monday January

Click on "GCCCD Online Classes" on the left-hand side of the page. |

Click on "Blackboard" near the top of the page. |

Click on "Login to Blackboard" at the far right. |

Click the "User Login" button on the left. |

Bookmark this link: <http://bb.gcccd.net/webapps/login/> this is where you should log in. But if you don't have your bookmark handy (for example, you're using a strange computer), you can always find your way using the steps above. |

Unless you
have been told otherwise, your username is your Web Advisor login name
(usually your first name, followed by a period,
followed by your last name). Your password is usually your date of birth in
MMDDYY format. Notice that this information also appears on the left-hand
side of this page. In the Username box, type your user name. Like this --> debby.golden In the Password box, type your password. 121268 |

Now you are on the page for all of your
GCCCD online classes. Click the green "My Courses" tab at the top left of the screen. (If you don't do this, some of the important buttons might not show up along the left side of some later windows.) |

screen for the course. That's it! You're in! Read all the announcements
