course uses the Blackboard Learning System, the first you need to learn is
how to log on to the Blackboard site. You should do this AS SOON AS the course becomes available on
Monday June 9, 2008. Just follow

Click on "GCCCD Online Classes" on the right-hand side of the page. | |

Click on "Blackboard/WebCT" near the top of the page. | |

Click on "Login to Blackboard" at the right. | |

Click the "User Login" button on the left. | |

NOTE: In the future, you can
bookmark this link: <http://bb.gcccd.net/webapps/login/>. But if you
don't have your bookmark handy (for example, you're using a strange
computer), you can find your way using the steps above. |

In the Username box, type your user
name. This is probably your first name followed by your last name (no
punctuation), such as
patmartinez
In the Password box, type your password. This is probably your date of
birth in MMDDYY format:

Click the Login button. |

Now you are on the page for all of
your GCCCD online classes. Click the green "My Courses" tab at the top left of the screen. (If you don't do this, some of the important buttons might not show up along the left side of some later windows.) |
