Brief Biography
I am currently teaching Human Sexuality (and other psychology courses)
for Grossmont & Southwestern Colleges in San Diego.  I am also working on 
several research projects - one a cross-cultural study with Dr. Cheng in Hong Kong.  
 
In 1998, I obtained my Masters in Psychology from
San Diego State University.  I received my Bachelors in Psychology
with Honors from California State University, Fullerton in 1996.
 
I was born in Memphis, Tennessee.  I have also lived in
California (Orange County and San Diego), Hawaii (Oahu), and 
the Netherlands (2000-2004).  I have traveled in Australia, Japan, Korea, 
throughout most of Western Europe (Italy was my favorite!) and some of Eastern 
Europe, Cyprus, Canada, Mexico and about two-thirds of the U.S.  Love to travel!

Future plans: 

Talking to several publishers about writing a Human Sexuality textbook.  Continue teaching (face-to-face classes as well as online classes) and continue researching social issues.  My research interests are in the areas of interpersonal relationships, sexuality, the Internet, and aging.  Current research includes studies on attitudes towards cybersex, sexual motivation, and gender differences in sexual desire.  [See CV for more details.]

I'm a gran'ma (Granm'a Bumblebee) and it's the coolest thing EVER!

Destiny Michelle was born on August 23, 2003 in San Diego, California 

and her new sister, Faith Alexandria was born June 1, 2007!

My son, Robert, is the proud new father and Kristin is the wonderful new mother.

 I also have an amazing daughter, Nina, in San Diego who has her Associates degree in Criminal Justice and
graduated from the San Diego Police Academy June '99.  She is currently working for the San Diego Sheriff's Department.

I don't have much time for hobbies but when I get a moment I do
enjoy riding a motorcycle (sadly, my Honda Magna 700 was totaled), 
horseback riding, traveling, reading, movies, and good music (jazz is my favorite!).
